HBK Braunschweig has entered into its first partnership exclusively in the field of art history. It is still just possible to submit applications for the summer semester 2022, with the deadline for this round 23 June 2021.

Under the tenth Braunschweig PROJECTS programme, the HBK Braunschweig has awarded scholarships to seven outstanding artists from around the world. The scholarships were made possible through a grant from the State of Lower Saxony. The award-holders have already arrived in Braunschweig to take up their scholarships in Fine Art and Sound Art, and were welcomed at their Kreuzstrasse studios, which are provided by the university as a dedicated space for the artists to live and work during their time in the city.

Prospective students, their parents and teachers are invited to take part in the HBK Braunschweig’s very first virtual open day on 24 February from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The day will focus on our degree programmes, the application process, course structures and much more. Find out what makes studying at the HBK Braunschweig so special and discover the many facilities on offer at the university.

The HBK Braunschweig is now accepting applications for the winter semester 2021/2022.
